myObjectiveOLAP
Reporting
myObjectiveOLAP enables cell based reporting of Oracle OLAP data directly within Microsoft Excel. There is a quick conversion process to migrate Express Spreadsheet Addin reports (using the xpCellQDR function) to myObjectiveOLAP.
Data Explorer provides a graphical tool for reporting on OLAP data from a myObjectiveOLAP Server enabled Oracle OLAP database.
User created reports can be executed on creation, and saved for future use. They can be distributed onto other users as a read-only standard report, or as a template for further reports.
Users can schedule a report to run at repeatable future times, and email the resulting report. The results of an overnight batch run can be waiting in your inbox when you arrive at your desk in the morning.
We even support Oracle's standard OLAP data-model so you can use your own reporting tools such as Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, or Business Objects. Any SQL client can view your analytical data.
VBA API for Oracle OLAP
myObjectiveOLAP exports functions to Microsoft Excel which can be used by Microsoft's Excel Visual Basic for Applications.
Common VBA functions enable the end user to interact either with the myObjectiveOLAP library itself or to execute commands or retrieve data from the Oracle OLAP database server.
myObjectiveOLAP allows the VBA user to set Options within the Oracle OLAP environment
The myObjectiveOLAP Graphical API allows the VBA user or developer to integrate standard myObjectiveOLAP windows and screens into their own application.
All of these functions provide the capability to create sophisticated Excel templates for bespoke data entry or dashboard screens.
